The Certified Apartment Leasing Professional (CALP) training is a 4-day course specifically designed to enhance the skills of leasing professionals, resulting in increased lease activity and improved customer service.
CALP Requirements:
- minimum 6 months of onsite property management experience in a leasing role (this can be obtained while taking the course; you will receive a provisional certificate until this requirement is met.)
- Complete all seven CALP courses
- Pass the examination within six months of declaring candidacy
Course Overview and Fees:
- The CALP Course curriculum is comprised of seven modules:
- Module 1: Bringing in New Residents
- Module 2: Marketing and Maintaining Your Community
- Module 3 Why Your Competition Matters
- Module 4: Relevant Laws and How to Apply Them
- Module 5: The Sales Process and Building Relationships
- Module 6: Effectively Meeting the Needs of Current Residents
- Module 7: Market Analysis and Review
- Light breakfast, snacks, lunch, course eBook, and initial exam fee are included with program purchase
- Total Program Cost: $500 member | $600 non-member
- All participants must register themselves under their own NAA account
