Proctor training is required for affiliate staff and NAAEI approved education providers to administer in-person credential exams. Participants will receive proctor credentials at the completion of the training.
If you are not currently an approved education provider, please email Chris Mahoney to be considered. All non-approved registrants will not receive proctoring credentials.
By registering, registrants agree to the cancellation and refund policy. Refunds or credits will not be issued for missed trainings. To cancel or reschedule, please notify Chris Mahoney 24 hours prior to the training. No refunds or credits will be issued after the 24-hour notification window.
Credential Exam Proctor Policy
NAAEI requires that all individuals proctoring exams are trained by Meazure Learning to become qualified proctors. Instructors who teach the credential content may not serve as exam proctors for those specific programs even if they did not teach the specific class or candidate who is testing. Additionally, a proctor may not instruct a credential course within one year of proctoring.
Individuals who may serve as proctors after completion of training must be designated by an NAAEI-verified Education Provider, to include:
· Staff of NAA Affiliate associations;
· Staff of partner colleges and universities;
· Staff of partner workforce development programs; and
· Staff of management companies offering corporate training (member or non-member).
Course instructors may not serve as credential exam proctors specific to the credential they teach. There is a waiting period of three years for an instructor from the date of the last class taught until they may proctor an exam for that credential.
For example, a CAM instructor may not proctor the CAM exam but may proctor the CAMT exam. If that instructor has not taught CAM for three years, they may then proctor the CAM exam as well.
Individuals from organizations that do not have a partnership agreement with NAAEI also may not serve as proctors.
